I just want to say hello to all Swamp Rat knife enthusiasts on this forum. I'm new to these knives and I want to learn more about them. I already have some folders and some good fixed blade knives but I also feel the need to try out a good large knife. Therefore I ordered a Ratweiler two weeks ago. When I get it, it will be used when I'm out hiking. Hopefully I will get the RW before this summer as it is the first time my four year old son and I go out on a longer hike together.

Thank you for introducing me to the world of Swamp Rat knives!:)
 
Good choice! you will love your Rat! Welcome to the forum! Hopefully you will stick around and participate in the discussions.:thumbup:
 
Where are you located? We have a gathering coming up in a few short weeks in East TN.
