It seems I waited too long to buy a Carbon Fiber Insingo. Now Knife Art is out of them and of course they don't know till the day they arrive when they will.
Waiting is hard.:)

Ahhhh... I too am checking multiple times a day for a small carbon fiber insingo. I told myself i would never go insingo but the blade has grown on me and now i just have to get one in hand to see for myself. Figures they're now out of stock. Also considering a small with micarta inlays... We'll see!! Good luck to us both.

Incredibly tense week for me. Waiting for my Nyala to come and for the results of a blood test I took Friday.

:DWe who are miserable love company.

Shadow449, I strongly advise getting a Micarta Insingo first, it's my all time best. The Micarta inlays are tough and give just a hint of gripness I like.

I thought you were going to make a full CF slab, instead of getting a inlay.

Really wanting a large 21 sapphire unique graphic, the hunt is part of the fun.

Funny you mention the micarta inlays, that's another I'm interested in. Keeping my eyes peeled for one or the other, which ever pops up first.

I'm experiencing this as well... It seems that alot of the CRK dealers don't have desirable configurations(to me) in stock right now. Bummer!

I, too, have found the waiting game hard. I forget to eat or drink and don't sleep for nights on end waiting to feel those two block-like titanium slabs between my fingers. My family tells me to eat, to go to bed, to change my clothes or take a shower. But I can't. I'm thinking about those sweet, sweet 0.005 tolerances and that amazing fit and finish.

The weather is warming, the ice is getting thinner - I'd be careful where I skate... ;)

I do tip my hat sir that this is posted here rather than general. Few are willing to actually come into the subforums to troll.

I've been waiting on a small micarta insingo to come around. I do know of one place that has some, but am waiting to see if one of my preferred dealers gets some in. I'm content with waiting awhile even if it's towards Christmas.

I have been on the hunt for a small carbon fiber inlay version which are quite hard to find. I finally snagged a used Insingo blade with CF inserts last week. Can't wait for it to arrive, this will be my first Insingo blade. It was a user by the previous owner so I'll probably send it off for a spa treatment, but I'll do a few weeks of fondling before she goes off to CRK.

Just trying to make your day a little bit harder ;-) I love my KA Insingo. That said, I've been cruising the classifieds for a sm micarta. Aesthetically, CF slab is the cream of the crop in Insingo land (IMO obviously), but you can't beat the micarta inlays for comfort.

I posted a thread in the exchange trading forum for my small cf Insingo if anyone's interested...

does the full CF slab version feel as strong as a full TI version? I've never handled one and was wondering if the full CF compromises the knife's integrity, lock up or overall sebenza feel or tolerances. I doubt Mr. Reeve would put a sebenza out on the market that did not live up to standards but just curious to hear the opinion of someone who has "in hand" experience.

If you are looking for the large Carbon Fiber Insingo, Knife Art has them in stock right now.
