A package arrives, and you know it's sitting there at the house waiting for you. Begging you to open it. To be fondled. To be carried. To be used. But alas, I must wait until the conclusion of the work day. It drives me crazy! Anyone else? [emoji38][emoji5][emoji39]

Delivery to the office can help.

I have considered it, but I can't! they "frown" upon such things unfortunately. when I ran the shipping/receiving department it was easier, but now that I've moved up I can't get away with it anymore.

You should just " take a bathroom break". Go get the knife and blame it on jalapeño poppers.

I understand, that's a pity.
I hope this is correct - anyway another 15 min done.

I may just have to sneak out for a long lunch break. knowing it's coming is one thing, but having a pic sent to me indicating it arrived drives me crazy! haha!

I think we all count down the minutes some days. I know I sure do. that last hour and a half likes to take an amazingly long time, too. especially if there are any kind of meetings.

I'm in the same boat today too. Five more hours to go...

Finally! Success! United and it feels so good.. [emoji1]

I just placed an order direct with CRK . . . 6 to 9 months wait to go for me.

ouch! that's got to hurt a little.. but the wait is well worth it, as well all know. and I'm sure whatever you're getting you will be more than happy with. I haven't seen any difference in quality or craftsmanship between this one, and my Dec 2014 Sebbie.

I've always loved the Plain Jane's. I love the look. I love the feel. I love the fact that it doesn't feel to "pretty" to use subconsciously without a thought of "hurting" it. I love the double lugs as well. They just work perfectly for me, because I like a little index finger incorporated in my opening motion. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It did come with the darker blue cloth, and my birth card now has the updated steel hardness on it (although it is still whited out and recopied over the original printing). I think this one is gonna be a user. A surprise to me, the birthday is the same as my little brothers! It makes it that much more special to me. Pics... because it happened! [emoji3]

Nice! There's no better feeling than first opening up the shipping box of a new knife.

I just got in a new one yesterday, but fortunately, it was my day off. I got to it as soon as it was delivered and unboxed it -- a Sebenza 25 Micarta.

sweet! yes indeed, it's such a wonderful thing. breaking the seal on it for the first time, it's always a little exciting in a way. pics upcoming I presume..? [emoji3]

Good choice! I see they updated the hardness of the blade by using whiteout and rewriting it:)

And yes I agree that waiting at work while there is a shiny new toy waiting at home is very difficult!
