Waiting on my la Griffe today

Today the ups man will be bringing my la Griffe. Which is a replacement of my old 1 and I can't wait! I'd like to thank EmersonREP and Megan at emerson knives for making this possible!
 
Update....it's here and it feels like having an old friend back. The sheath and coating are different than the 1 I had but I think it's for the better! It's already around my neck and that's where it will stay! If your on the fence about getting 1 just do it you won't regret it ....I promise!
 
So I like the sheath better than the old 1 it's smoother and more comfortable and as for the blade the old 1 I don't believe it had a coating and would get small spots of rust. Now the new 1 has a nice coating and I don't see it rusting at all it's also super comfortable in hand. ....I love it so happy to have 1 again.... Emerson treats people right! I'll be buying more with out a second thought ! My cqc-8 has a buddy now!

thats cool - the cqc8 was the first Emerson that caught my eye - wanted one ever since - it took a long time but now i have an even more special version! it is so nice i find myself handling and admiring it all the time...

been looking for some kind of neck knife - so the la griffe seems to be the one to get!

if i recall correctly i also got some more AC cargo pants and shorts back then when you recommended them :)
 
I did a review on the TAD gear amphibious cargo pants on the busse forum! Packed them full of crap. Still have them still no stains or rips and still look new...love them!

If you get 1 you will be happy! I put mine on paracord last night and have slept with it on every night and you don't even know it's there! You could mount it to a techloc or other device for belt or inside the pants carry or whatever your choice or mount it to another knife like Lycosa said.....it's well worth it!

had to pick up a backup 99 just because I liked the finish better.
