Patience is a virtue.

I'm virtueless. :p

I guess they'll be here when they get here. I've been waiting for a USN Benchmade 630 since December. The wait on some customs is years. Could be worse.

After owning one of the horn (stag horn with rough parts not smooth at all)
and keeping it on belt everytime I leave my apartment, I just gotta get a few more of these. 2 wood and another horn sounds about right.
I'm really attatched to it.
The sheath seems almost too good to polish too.

I hope some extra wood or horn come in by Xmas time, I need a couple for gifts to non-khuk-loving friends. Even a low dose of HIKnifeV will plant a seed and work its nefarious ways...

maybe there will be more runs of these, seems like bura got it right the first time, no rejected "prototypes".
I'll certainly participate

Kis, while combing the last year's posts for other things, I came across Sarge's AOL email and dropped him a note. No response but neither did I get an rejection "undeliverable" response.

Thank you, Rusty,

I used to send him a note about once a month, but began to feel like a stalker. None came back, but neither did any response. I offered to return the knife he made for me, feeling odd about keeping it. I got no response from that email either.

I just hope he is okay, and is safe and well. Whether he visits here or not, he made good contributions to the Cantina, and to the world. A good man.

If nothing else, the SARGE knife is a small testament to the good will he engendered.

The internet is a funny place, eh?

I wonder if he has contacted Bill?
(probably sworn to secrecy even so.....)

Shame....because now that I live in Arkansas...I was really looking forward to meeting up with the "Texas Trio"......which, now is a Solo.....no offense Berk...would still love to meet you in person.

I have to agree. HOWEVER, I PROMISE not to become a shark and try for anymore. :D Sweet little knife! Although a wood handled one would be nice, NO NO NO. I promised and I keep my promises. "A man is only as good as his word!"

Dale?

As much as I love you and honor you as a man of your word,

uh...your most recent listing of H.I. products leads me to suspect your evil twin may be ordering blades when you aren't looking. :D

Does anyone know if there will be any extras coming through in the shipment? As I have monster choppers to last me a lifetime, i find that the lil' critters of HI are becoming more and more to my liking. Hmmm, i think this little number is enough to make my fin surface;)

I must've missed something....did Uncle post them up yet?

Just arrived. Emailed Uncle the shipping addresses. Don't know if there are any extras.
