Waiting time for a Custom Production?

Does anybody know what the real waiting time for a custom production is? I ordered a damascus CQC7B in April...

Of course the procedures and directions page says 6 to 8 weeks to fill your order.

What's the actual turn around time from faxing in your request to receiving that wonderous phone call?

I've been waiting for my c/p commander since April also, Derek did email me and said that because of what I ordered it was going to take longer.I know that doesn't answer your question but at least you know you're not alone

I ordered immediately after the C/P shop opened, April of 2001(?), and am still waiting!
