Waiting time for factory refurbishing?

I can't give you a reliable quote on current lead time for refurbishing (I had my last refurb done about 3 years ago). Much of the answer to your question lies in what you tell them to do. With both my large plain sebenza and large classic sebenza refurb jobs, the knife came back looking new, with the exception of the blade being a bit shorter due the accumulated sharpening jobs in its lifetime.
My advice would be to call up CRK, describe the condition of your knife, ask them what to expect for the standard refurb charge (or more, if you want more than their standard). Above all, my experience is that CRK service, when asked, does a very good and accurate job of setting the expectation.
