A good 6 weeks ago I ordered 2 customs---one like Apr 25 and the other the very next day.

I didn't receive a confirming e-mail on either---my debit card was charged then uncharged---I figured they would'nt bill me until shipped---so that's what that was----but now its 6 weeks and I really really really want my knives now.

What gives??
 
I ordered a 110 on April 12, 2007 from the Custom Shop. I received it today. Great knife for my son. Flat Black Buffalo slabs, BG-42 Blade, and Nickel Silver Bolsters.
 
I had the same experience.

I think the billing deal is just to be sure the card is good and it's you, then they pull the charge and re-bill once it's done. Once I saw what the deal was I was good with it. However, would be nice if they posted that somewhere since it bugged me some.

I had about a 2 month wait due to BG42 steel being hard to get at the time.

Give them a call, they should be able to give you status on it.

If you send me an email with your vital statistics, i will look into this for you. Thats strange that your card was charged and then debited, something does not sound right there.
 
All kinds of things can hapen when computers are involved,one thing for sure is you are going to get 2 nice knives.!

Once i got a custom 110 in 4 weeks,and never even got my cc charged,I hd to call back and get that one taken care of,they treat their customers great,and i would not want the knife ithout paying for it!

Hang in there,the wait will be absolutely worth it!

The last three that I ordered (at different times), all took about six weeks.

Not to change the subject, but since you brought up BG42, what is the status now?
 
As an aside---I'm lovin my Cabela's Alaskan Guide 110 I picked up a few days ago----for the price paid its an absolute steal.
