Waiting Time

So in case anyone was wondering what the TRUE waiting time is for a Mnandi with a specific blade and specific inlay, its 13 months and counting. This isn't meant as a complaint. The wait will be worth it. I visited my local dealer today and saw a Mnandi with the inlay but without the blade. The dealer is top notch so it's not like it's lost in the shuffle...I've confirmed it with CRK and the dealer a few times.

If this is the worst news I get today, it's been an outstanding day. If you got your special order recently, congrats!

I am sure they are quite busy filling existing orders and prepping for the 25s. I've been waiting for my Snakewood Mnandi for about 4.5 months now and it's killing me (because since I placed the order, some have popped up in retailer stock!!) .... but am more than willing to wait. It'll be worth it, AND, it gives me more available funds to throw at other knives I want!!
 
I'm still waiting on a few things, and its taking REAL long....that 13 months is about right.
 
Well, 14 months and counting. The latest email from Heather basically said "a few more months". I might have to put my place in line in my will.
 
A few weeks ago, Heather called me and said one of my damascus blades was ready. Its actually on its way back to me.

purcellj- you really should be getting called soon.
 
The wait is over at 16 months.
