On the edge of my seat waiting for my RC3MIL to get here... this is my first RAT knife, and an easy purchase due to the military friendly nature of Jeff and the guys there with him. My problem now is that next payday I am going to have to order an Izula and RC4. This is seriously eating into my ammo and firearms budget....

Good Purchase. Love my RC3MIL.

Go ahead and buy more ammo... just lay off the extra bottom feeders for a while and get some more RATS!!!

Focus on Revolvers or Shotguns and practice with those for a month. That will save ammo to allow you to buy RATS!!!

Or reload..

See... Its easy.

:confused:Where did you get your RC3 MIL from ? Yeah, Im in the same boat trying to split my small budget btwn guns & knives. I have been buying a box of 12G buckshot rounds and .22 ammo from W-mart whenever I go there and see any, and its feast or famine. I cant believe Wolf ammo .223 is $300/case (+S/H ) !? In 2000 a case of Wolf .223 was $99/case (but lacquer instead of polymer coated). Just last year I bought a few Wolf cases for $160-170 delivered. Even the 545x39 Polish/Russian surplus tins w/ 2160 rnds. are up there in price, last I saw $300+, for corrosive ammo, thats sick! :barf: :thumbdn::barf:OBAMA SUCKS:thumbdn:

It came in this afternoon, I ordered it directly from the guys at RAT. I cant even put into words how thrilled I am with this knife.... and I havent even cut anything yet! My next purchase is going to be an Izula and either a RC4 or 6... have not decided yet, but still have about a week until payday to decide. As far as ammo goes, I buy what I can when I can. I shoot mostly 9mm, .45 and 5.56, luckily they are getting eeasier to find and the prices have started coming back down to almost normal....

Just so no one is confused, we sell direct to military and law enforcement,

Sorry, maybe I should have been more specific, I have served (and am still serving) in two different branches of the military. After spending plenty of time in inhospitable environments and seeing RAT knives in use I retired several of my fixed blades and contacted Jeff at RAT Cutlery and found out they would sell direct to military.... Jeff, in about a week you will be seeing another order come through for an RC6 and Izula from me and probably several from some friends of mine!

We appreciate you guys. Not only for buying RAT knives but for what you do for our country! Heros, each and every one of you!

good choice! i had my eye on that one but went with an rc-4! they way i look at it is, theres no particular order to buy them since ill eventually own them all! just buy them whenever i find a good price on one or they have a particular knife in stock! enjoy ur tool!

Waiting sucks, I had to go out of town before my RC-4 showed up and had to wait 2 extra weeks. But it was worth the wait, awesome knife!

I think the RC-3 is a perfect knife it would be fun if a special run was made out of some sort of super steel in a satin finish.
