Waki butt

When the Wakis debuted, I recall that Porkerson implied that the odd shape of the Waki butt was designed for something that would be released in the future, but he did not (would not) say what that release would be. Has anybody heard what it was supposed to be? The Wakis have been out for awhile now, but this bit of item, whatever it was supposed to be, seems to have gone the way of the Dodo, if it ever even existed to begin with. Anybody hear anything?
 
I once bolted two Waki's together and played Darth Maul! It was both glorious and terrifying at the same time!!

Something tells me that was Porkersons fault....... :p
 
I bolted 4 together and made a Dave Brown size throwing star :D

What gives Porckerson whats the end for ?

Tuning for harmonic balancing ?

A four bladed Waki throwing star does indeed bring interesting thoughts to mind. :D
 
Maybe there should be a thread for possible uses.

I was thinking it could be used as a makeshift monopod shooting rest.

Brings new meaning to that scene in The Road Warrior where the guy tries to grab the kid's spinny-blade thing and chops his fingers off. LOL It'd look more like the opening scene of Ghost Ship.
 
I asked the same question about a month after I got my waki over on ratchat, but had no answers there either. I suppose we'll find out in about 2 weeks.:D

Holy crap! Can you imagine the horror of something like that spinning through the air at you? :eek: btw, yea, I freaked out when I saw that scene in Road Warrior the first time. That movie never gets old. :D
 
i got so excited the other day when my scrapizashi came in and I was comparing it to my waki and I thought for a moment I had figured it out. The waki butt and scrapizashi butt come within a few milimeters of fitting together perfectly. I thought there for a second I was going to have a Darth Maul double sided waki of death on my hands. :rolleyes:
