Okay, Here Are The Pictures Of The Waki. I Have Not Yet Etched It And Hand Polishing. I Done The Habaki Last Night. Hope You Like The Fullers.

I Am Doing The Shisaya Now. I Am Going With An Extra Curly Maple With Dark Brown Cocobolo As Ends To The Handle And The Scabbard.

I ran it under since the habaki has a partial islet inside the habaki that stops the slide in progression.....technically, wanted to try something a little different.......lol....

the core is tamahagame with the outer layers folded cable damascus.... I forged the cable with 5 layers then folded it 4 times. the pattern is a wavy itame, I am not a sword know it all, just know how to make them so my terminology may be off.

the fuller was forged in also, i usually use just a draw scribe i call it or a milling machine, but wanted to play a little with this. was cleaned up with deburring wheels then burnished to this stage

wow, where'd you get the tamahaganae?

i ordered it from japan, came as a large semi round smelting pour. hard as heck to forge from that to a bar........ makes me respect the power hammer thats for sure.....

not really crumbly, did break into two pieces when almost a bar, that stuff makes a 25 lb little giant stretch a bit and say damn...........
