I have it on good authority that santa is bringing me a tanker grey waki with red/black g-10, but I don't want to wait until Christmas to see what the combo looks like. anybody have some photos of this combo? thanks in advance.

wow, that's a cool pic. is that all of the colors? if so, is there anyway you could list blades an handles from top to bottom?

That is not all the colors, there are a total of 42 combinations :eek:

In the pic the colors are as follows (blade color first, then handle)

Muddy, black/green G10
Black, black/green G10
Tanker Gray, black/tan G10
Tanker Gray, black/red G10
Sage, black/tan G10
Muddy, black/red G10
Moss, tan canvas
Black, tan canvas

HUGE HUGE help, thank you :) i had always read the colors AND seen pix but was always a little confused about which was which (with the moss, muddy, sage). this clears it right up, thanks.

as long as you're right here, can i bother ya with one more question? i don't understand the "PRE order" thing. is that "PRE" as in - the real ordering is coming soon like a "PRE production" thing? or was that the one and only time these are going to be offered?

Pre-order as in order your color combo and then it is made to your request. We will probably have some left when the orders are filled but I can't guarantee that. Just watch this forum for updates

They are both tan canvas, and now they probably both look the same. While I didn't oil them they may have some oil on them from the shop, (ie cleaning the blades prior to shipping) Oils will temporarily darken the micarta colors, but once they fully dry (a couple of weeks) they return to their lighter color. Cleaning them with a light soap and then letting them dry will also change them to their original lighter color.
Another explanation is that they are from different batches of micarta, they won't always look that different but they may for several months.
