I REALLY WISH Jerry would post specs when introducing knives.

Pictures are GREAT, but they do not tell the whole story.

For me, the specs can be as important a factor towards a buying decision as the steel used.

I try to keep an archive of all that I have owned over the years and others as I come across reliable sources of relevant knives.

For the Waki, it is a bit harder to have comparable blades to compare with, but for most other sub-12" blades, the past references for comparisons and SPECS on new knives to compare with help me a lot.

What I have is just a Word Doc that I add to and update. Nothing fancy. I initially had it in a "Table" format, but I couldn't copy and paste info to the forum threads very easily. With simple lines in the Word doc, I just copy and paste as I need... since I often compare and many people often ask specs. Unfortunately, I didn't start this list until after I had already sold a handful of my earlier blades. And there are a handful of Swamp Rat Knives I just never owned. Sadly, the Rat Daddy is one of those, along with Rat Tail, SAR Rat, Mini Mojo, M9CG and some others. And then I just didn't think to weigh certain knives before selling - such as: Rat Warden, Rat Shaker and the Rat Mastiff. So, I am missing confirmation of true weights on certain knives. I have filled in some weights and specs as people have posted them or as I have confirmed them. My old scale was only accurate to .5 ounce and rounded up as it was a postage scale. My newer digital scale is much more accurate to .05 ounce. But, some knives I no longer have to re-confirm. In any event, some specs vary per knife anyway. I have seen variances of .25 ounces or a fraction of an inch here and there on same designs. It happens.

My list contains various Scrap Yard knives I have owned for comparison and Various Busse knives for comparison as well.

Agreed! I like the idea you have of a Wiki style project DWRW. The problem I've had with the Busse themed sites is they're not frequently updated If we're able to edit it ourselves, the information will stay current and frequently updated. DWRW, thank you for putting that together, it's a really awesome list. Weight is important to me, and others as well.

No problem...... I have just been putting this list together for my own purposes and references over the years. From time to time, people have asked for certain comparisons and I have posted "Pieces" of the above list.

If we can have it as a sticky, that would be great. Then people will likely see and hopefully add info to fill in for all to be able to access. :thumbup:
I will start another thread in a few minutes. I have been tweaking the order and arrangement of the comparisons. There really isn't a perfect way to put them in order IMO. But, trying my best.

I added your NMFBMLE since everybody always seem to want to know the various differences of the big choppers. :thumbup:
And I added the Cultellus. That was a limited Sprint run for last years Blade, but also sold in a few Ganzaaas and apparently some other shows and never a regular release. So, I was reluctant to add it. I want to try to keep the Busse list somewhat simple and broad with the most common releases. But, there are a lot of Cultellus's out there and unique in size, so I added it. Also, I split the difference on the weight you posted for the Cultellus. BusseCollector has the Cultellus listed at 3.625 ounces vs. your 3.8 ounces. It is pretty common to have some subtle differences in weight and I think the handles on those were hand shaped (????). So, I just went with 3.7 ounces.
However, I am not going to add customs, variants and rare and limited runs to the list. So, I did not add your custom SFNO.
I already have the SFNO-LE and the NMSFNO on the list. :thumbup:
