Hi all... I received my HI wakizashi last night, I think HI calls it a wajaski or something like that lol. It is 27in overall and 29oz. I haven't had a chance to take picture yet but I will post some very shortly. I am amazed how well balanced it is for a non-traditional wak. It balance point is just like my Tibetan long sword. It balances about 3.5 inches from the tsuba or handguard.

I will have exact dimensions and balance point numbers once I have a chance to further examine the blade. The sheath was very nicely done, the leather seems thicker. It has a thicker yet softer feel to it and the texturing seems much deeper. I prefer the thicker leather on the frog, it helps when drawing the blade. My WWII's frog has a much thinner leather that pulls "up" when you draw the kukri. The 23in 40oz Chitlangi I receive a couple weeks ago has even thicker leather than the wak's sheath.

I know its no fun the read about new blades without pictures so I will keep this post short until I have the chance to post some cool pics. Thanks again Auntie Yangdu for another awesome addition to my Hi and sword collection. I had to move one of my katana to another sword stand so I had room for the HI wakizashi.

This is my first blade my Yuvraj.... Does anyone else have any stuff made by him?

I have trisuls made by Yuvraj, he is one of Kumar's brothers, and he does outstanding work. I think Ndog has a YSA with the Yin/Yang symbol inlay done by Yuvraj...beautiful piece by the way.
