Wakizashi tsuba & habaki waxes

hey guys!
well.. the sword actually has no diamonds on it at all... but i am making it in trade for a diamond. Making this sword for a local forum member, in order to have the stuff to make an engagement ring.

these are just the waxes... but i wanted to show them off.

hey,
i used a release agent on these blades, but you basically melt the blade through the wax
(it is more controlled than it sounds) and when it is cool it will slide off. you have to be careful, but it Will slide off.

you casting it yourself?
how much does a casting cost for a habaki?

i am not casting it myself, however the guy who is doing the casting for me is charging me $25 to do the casting. he has a pretty quick turn around time, usually 2-3 days. (especially since he is in New York)

i also provided all the material.

i can give you his info if you would like. he is here on BF
