Wal-mart hawks?

I was searching online and realized I could order a cold steel hawk off their website and do in store pick-up. Has anyone ever seen a hawk at wal-mart? I never have.
 
No. Just a few Case, Kershaw and Buck knives here. Pretty sad really. Never seen anything Cold Steel. You may have some luck checking the online site.
 
Didn't know that until now. Seems as though they also have Spyderco, SOG, Ontario, K-Bar, CRKT, Boker and Benchmade model knives listed for sale.


I try to stay away from that place - makes me anxious among other things...


But if they have something you want, why not?


Try it out and tell us what happens? Just plan on an "Official" (or two) walking you to the door with it ;)
 
I've bought two CS hawks from Walmart online and picked them up in store. Takes about a week. The only hawks I've ever seen them carry is those crappy SOG Fasthawks. But I don't think they've ever carried CS inventory on the store shelves. Walmart online sometimes gives better deals than Amazon. Free in store pick up, and price matched the same or below Amazon. Can't beat it.
 
Walmart hawks! That's so perfect! Prepare for Armageddon and help bring it at the same time! :D
 
Third party vendors list products through their website, and I think they may have started doing this to compete with Amazon.
At Walmart's here in the good half of California all they carry is buck, leatherman, Victorinox, Gerber, Kershaw, sog, crkt, and camillus, plus the cheapo stuff like Ozark trail Winchester mossy oak and Sheffield.
 
I must admit before I started going to flea markets I did buy two Cold Steel products on line from them the Trail Boss 24.64$ and the Ax Gang 21.24$ both made in Taiwan, both were very sharp out of the box and I believe included free shipping. I did have to re hang the Trail Boss only because of the low humidity in SoCal.
I have learned to wait until drops it to 15% or less before hanging any thing out here.
 
Update. I ordered on Sunday the 14th and it was ready to pick up on Tuesday 16th. Pretty quick on their part.
