Walk in the fog...

Gandor and me had a few hrs walk in the "misty woods" this afternoon. The forest was quiet, but beautiful. We made a deer jump and run in the bush on a steep hillside, but that was all...all in all, I always realise I should go out more often...enjoy!

Hi. Those are some seriously amazing pics! Thanks for sharing them. I like when a mist spreads over the landscape or forest as well, the silence makes you feel like you were in an mysterious isolated world...
And the knife pics turned out really great, they look like from some top-notch catalogue. Hat off.

I see there's already some snow in Hungary.
Here in Poland we have no snow yet, which is quite uncommon. Very warm autumn this year here.
After seeing this pics I have a strong resolution to go to the woods the nearest weekend myself!

thanks all,

my "woods-time" is mainly from late autumn to early spring, because of the fishing season...when fish start to bite, I'm off to the waters...
And I really like the solitude of the misty weather...somehow everything becomes more peaceful, and quiet, like a walk under a blanket...

we had a really long summer and warm autumn here, too. some snow has fallen up in the mountains, but it looked more as a frozen-crystallized mist, than snow...

Yes, I feel the same way. I spend way too much time in front of the computer (at work and at home), and not enough time in the woods. Thank you for the beautiful photos!
