I just got home from seeing "Walk The Line", the biopic based on Johhny Cash's books "The Man In Black" and "Cash".

AMAZING stuff from J. Pheonix and R. Witherspoon both, I told my friends as we left the theater, "I'm not sure if I just watch a movie, or watched two actors channel the spirits of the dead".

This one is a must see!
 
I am looking forward to seeing it. I love Johnny Cash's music and J. Phoenix is a very good actor.

What really blows your mind is that Pheonix does ALL the singing himself. At a certain point in the film you feel like your watching him literally turn into Johnny Cash right in front of you.
 
Joaquin did all the songs himself? I can believe that he got Cash's voice down, but he covered all of the songs! I've gotta see this movie!
 
Yes, him and Reese Witherspoon did all their own singing, she does an amazing job also, she is actually from Nashville, TN and just let's her natural accent out, swear she could charm the rattle off a snake!
 
Looking forward to seeing this. Been a longtime Cash fan. I also read that Joaquin played the guitar parts as well?
