Walker Almite question

I bought a used Walker Almite a while back...to replace the lightweight one my wife took over. The only thing I'm not keen on is the tip down carry. I was looking into drilling the scales and putting the threads in and all that, but I'm not sure I want to mess it up.

Anyone know if I could send it in to get the clip moved the tip up?

Thanks,

Ted

No one has any info on this? I really love this knife, but its a pain to carry tip down. I'm surprised no one else has ever had this problem.

I don't see why you couldn't tap into the other end. There seems to be plenty of "meat" there. Quite another story having Spyderco do it for you. I haven't heard of them being into "modifying" their stuff. :)

I removed the clip from mine and carry it in my watch pocket.

Thanks, I really like the placement of the clip on the lightweight version. From what I can tell it techniqually shouldn't be a problem at all, I just don't know how to do it myself. Hmm, maybe I'll take it to a jewerler or machinist. But its not like I'm modifying my Gunting ;)
