Walking Dead Video Game!!

I recently had a few extra bucks in my pocket and bought an Xbox 360 and a few FPS games. I've never really had a console, except when I was younger. I felt I needed something to distract myself when I wasn't working, learning, spending time with my lady, or going out in the woods. I really haven't played it that much and kind of had buyers remorse until today.

I remembered hearing about a Walking Dead video game, but didn't realize it was coming out so soon. It looks like it is coming out today!

Anyone else excited about this game? I'm definitely going to go buy it today. I'm hoping I get to gut some zombies with a virtual TG!
 
I am not a gamer, never really have been although my kids like them, I may actually try this one, we just recently picked up an XBox as well
 
I watched the leaked vid of some of the first level I think.
I didnt really like the "mouse cursor" style gameplay, but
I'll probably play it for the alternate story (supposedly takeing place during Season 1 I think)
and the "AHHH ITS GONNA GET ME!" sensation
 
Yeah. I'm no gamer either. I'll bet there are plenty of 8 year olds that would whoop my butt at call of duty if I was on Xbox live or whatever it's called.

We just got a new flat screen for the living room, so I moved the old flat screen into the bedroom. I am also using the Xbox as a media center. Through some hackery, I got it to connect to my iMac so that I can stream movies from it.

Anyways, I'm picking up the walking dead game right now. I checked out the videos too and to be honest, it's not as cool looking as I thought it would be. We'll see what it's like after I play it.

If anyone else picks it up, I'd love to hear your review; I likely wont get to play the game for a couple of days due to work.
 
I guess I was wrong. The walking dead game is not coming out for the Xbox for a while. Bummer.

Truth. And it PISSES. ME. OFF! :mad:

Little snotnoses aren't even supposed to be on there!!! COD MW3 is rated M for Mature, and they clearly are NOT!!! I'm on PSN, and the user agreement you "sign" stipulates that underaged kiddos are not allowed to play an M game online!!! Yet SO many still do. It will be far worse once summer vaca starts soon. :grumpy:

Mostly I'm just sick of getting my butt kicked... :o

Yep. See my reply above yours. I've steered away from the online parts of COD until this game. Now I'm addicted. I have to play an hour a night (or more - sometimes a LOT more) before bed to get my fix.
 
well looks like official release date for this is April 24, would be nice to play this at home while having new Team Gemini in hand.... <hint hint>
 
Hmm. Looks like it will be a download-only type of game. Unfortunately, based on my experience, that means it probably won't be all that great. I guess we'll see if it isn't too expensive.

The guy at the local video game shop said cost would be 20.00, there are going to be 5 episodes, one per month that will automatically download onto your system

I usually get online with friends in a party so I don't have to listen to their whiny voices :D But I haven't been online for a long while. I used to enjoy the COD zombie packs, but that can get old fast. I wonder how this game will play out and if they will have a Busse in it.

I do that most of the time... But every now and then, I decide to mock them or whine in a high pitched voice or repeat the same phrase over and over till they mute me or leave :D I'm a jerk, but only to those who need it and I never cuss or be vulgar. Just annoy them away haha

Yep. I read positive reviews about the first episode. I think it's more expensive for the PS3 than the Xbox.

I do have MW3 and Black Ops, but do not play online. I'm pretty awful and don't have that much time to play. Maybe when I get better, I'll sign up to play against some HOGs.

MW3 is a pretty awesome game, I must say.

Hahahaha well if they shouldn't be on there I guess you are doing them a favor???:D I will be playing the new Walking Dead game for sure :thumbup:

Exactly. And some of the mouths on these kids, they'd make a sailor blush. I think my next steps (If I ever get back online) will be grammar correction. If anyone wants to add me on 360, my gamer tag is: DisgruntldClown and I'll try to be online more. I usually play MW3 (Domination, Team Death, etc.). Not that good but try to have fun :D
