I think I need to remind everyone a couple of things.
1. If you are new to the forums and have not read the forum rules, please do so. The number one problem seems to be
deal spotting and giving out prices and sale information. Other problems do exist, so if you have not read over of the
general forum rules, please do so. Other such stuff as this happens....i.e. After I write this and post it, I have to scold
someone about going to far in talking about GEC knives in the Buck forum.
2. Has been lots of talk about the Buck store, catalogs, discounts, etc. Sometimes this starts to edge over to the
Grand Canyon of rules. Everyone has been doing pretty good but lets not slip into mistakes. Here is an example, I
realize a certain store opening in your area is exciting, but showing a photo of the soon to be open store may be
stretching the rules a little. My rule is keep the knives as the main focus. You can mention stores, but make sure
along the line of - 'Here is a photo of my model 007 I got at a Peru Tire Store last weekend." Yes, even TOO much
and too precise info on Buck factory store could be looked at as a push. When you talk about the store, talk about
what your doing there not what it is costing and everyone should be OK. If you need price information, ask someone
to send it to you in a private mail note. That's what that is for. I am no saint, some of the info on the BCCI 301 I
should not have posted.
