Walkman -end of a long run

Holy crap, I had no idea they were even still making them! Can't remember the last time I used a cassette. . .

That's a die-hard gadget, though. Anyone know what the last production model was?

I've been cleaning out the garage. A few days ago, I found an adapter that allowed you to play a cassette in an 8 track player. I'm going to give it to someone for a Christmas gift. :)

I have one of those yellow 'water resistant' ones from the early 80's. Gonna hang on to it.

I always wanted a yellow walkman when I was a kid. Saved up and got an Aiwa when i was 12. I listened to the Tom Petty Greatest Hits tape until the tape was burnt out.

I need some new tapes for my 8-track. I gave up on finding them for my 4-track. :grumpy:

How about Hi-8 and BetaMax?
