Wall display for knives?

Building a new home currently and am including a sort of den for me and my toys.

What options do I have so that I may display my favorite knives from my collection on a wall? I imagine knives will be stored in the open position on said display.

I'm planning on having a section of wall to display my firearms collection using a Gallowtech setup. http://www.gallowtech.com/

Maybe something that can work off of this base?

Ideas and thoughts appreciated.

I'm a big fan of the magnetic tool holders from HF. They're I expensive and can be cut to length with a hacksaw, I used shoe goo to hold them to the underside of the shelves in this pic.
