While in a Dollar Store the other day I noticed that they sold brass plated plate hangers. They have two hooks on the bottom and one spring loaded, adjustable hook on the top. I thought that with a bit of modification this would be just the ticket for hanging khurkris on the wall. So I bought one. (it was only a dollar after all!!)
I have a spool of copper wire and I used a length of it to form loop between the two bottom hooks. I slid the bottom of the scabbard into the loop, pulled the top spring loaded hook up over the edge of the frog and voila! Instant khuk hanger. It looks good, only cost a buck, was really easy to do and is plenty strong. (it's holding up my 800lb Salyan)
