Wall Mart 110 Tin Question

I went to ww today and found the 110 Tins display. All of the 110 blades had the Buck signature that looks like the pics posted here, except for one.

It was black like it had been written with a fine point pen instead of scribed. I would say the lines were twice as thick as the other signatures.

Has anyone else run into this, and are the signatures actually cut into the metal of the blade??? I haven't opened mine because they were purchased for gifts.

Thanks,
Jim

The three-fers of PRC-made Bucks are long gone at my nearest W-W - only about a dozen of the tin 110s left. Interesting range of wood scales, too... signatures are all the same. Added a few Gerber sets, too. I don't expect 'closeouts' this year.

All the Tins were sold out in LI, NY....I went to check to see if there were any like this but four Walmarts were all sold out or did not ever get them in....
