I've been thinking about carrying a slim profile fixed blade in my wallet, two that sprung to mind were the Buck Hartsook and the Boker Subcom !
Does anybody else carry a fixed in their wallet ?

Don't know anything about Buck, but the Boker Subcom is certainly not a fixed blade. In any event if you removed the pocket clip...it might work, but why? It fits perfectly in the "watch pocket" of jeans etc. ;)

I think the Hartsook would be an excellent small utility for your wallet, but you may not realize just how small. I mean tiny. Great design, though, and excellent steel.

There are other credit card knives. I like the looks of all of them, but question their effectiveness. I have one in stainless that I got over 25 years ago but it never saw much use.

Here's a nice one by the Crawfords.

I carry a Toollogic companion in my wallet wich contains a small serrated fixed blade.

The fixed subcom is over 5 inches...thats much longer than most wallets

I've been toying with assembling a wallet survival kit, and my top contenders for the blade part are, so far, the ToolLogic mentioned above (fixed blade), and the old Spydercard (folding).

I don't carry one in my wallet, but you might want to check some of Peter Atwood's stuff...

Something like this, maybe?

i really like peter atwood's stuff too.... i personally carry a HideAwayKnife in the top credit card spot in my wallet. i really like it and I use it mostly when i forget to pick up other knives. (very rare event!)
i also ordered a microtech Assailant. Nice gadget... even comes with the wallet. (and it has no proprietary screws to get paranoid about.... ahahah!)

I dont find the sog card too big for my wallet, others complain about the size, I think it's alright. I'm thinking of getting a tool-logic card soon and the assailant.

IMO, the Simonich Bitteroot knife is probably the best bang for the buck.
Small, but not too small.
