wallet for my cargo pants pocket??

i'm looking for a wallet or zip pack or "something" that will fit in the cargo leg pocket of my cargo pants. would have to be no larger than a paper back book. this would allow me to carry some first aid stuff, pen and paper, etc etc.

this would be my EDC urban survival kit.

i have a backpack that is filled with stuff for my BOB.

but someting in my pocket would be always with me. the hardest thing is not what to put in it.....but finding a suitable "container " to fit in my cargo pocket. any ideas?

I've got both of these. The larger one fits perfectly in a cargo pocket. It was designed for that, and for the lower pockets on the M-65 field jacket. The smaller one is like a fat notepad cover with pockets inside and out and pen loops, too. Really neat and capacious for such a compact item. It will fit a cargo pocket sideways without shifting. Both of them are lightweight and durable.

I think you might want the larger one, which does have a divider inside. You could stash writing materials behind it -- it has 3 waterproof clear plastic envelopes there -- and plenty of medical and snack materials in front.

On the other hand, if you can use the smaller one instead, it will be handy for switching to a light jacket pocket or even the back pocket of jeans if necessary.
