I need a new wallet. My requirements are a bit different than what has been posted here before. I am going to order a Tear-Jerker ring and will need a place to carry it. I won't wear it all the time, but want it on my person. Also a place for a small Douk Douk. I have looked at the mission wallet and also the THE from Spec Ops. Any other recommendations? Also design ideas as Vadim at vessleatherworks has been very helpful.
Thanks,
Jim

Welcome to Blade Forums. I guess the Spec-Ops wallet would be a good choice to keep the ring in if I had to choose, but the ring is pretty thick, and I believe it would be very uncomfortable to sit on.
The ring was made so that it would not look aggressive. That is why has many corners as opposed to spikes. So far, I have worn it for six 12 hour shifts at the hospital with none of the nurse even taking a second glance at it. So seems sheeple friendly enough.
But if you still feel stongly about the way the ring looks, you can always have btboone (the guy who actually makes the ring) tone the ring down for you some.

You can also ask btboone to make the ring thinner for you if you feel you will want to keep it in a wallet. Maybe make the ring with one row of teeth instead of two. If it were to be one row, I would make the ring about half the size as the one pictured.
That is just a suggestion. It is all up to you.

Thanks for the welcome and the thoughts on the wallets and ring. My main problem is that I can't wear it at work. Not that I'm concerned about sheeple, your testimonial was a good one. I like the design of the ring, although I have spoken to btboone about a matte finish. I work with students who have emotional and behavioral disorders. A conflict involving physical conflict/restraint is a likely scenario or me almost every day. Even worn in stealthy mode, I can see damage being done unintentionally. I will probably make the change to front pocket wallet carry if the ring is in the wallet.
Thanks again,
Jim

I have owned and used a THE wallet for I think about 4 years now and I love it. I cant say enough good things about it.
I'm not one to use different wallets for different occasions , I rarely ever dress up so THE suits me fine.
The construction is Grade A , the cumstomer service is Grade A.
When your wallet develops that smell that all wallets do after years of hard use , you simply pull all the goodies out and wash it in warm soapy water and wallah ! New wallet.

How about wearing it around your neck like a industrial style looking pendant but keep it under your shirt?
By the way, I recommend this satin finish. He has different matte finish, but this is the easiest to maintain. Just rub it with Scotch Brite and it is brand new again. It is not a shiny finish.

I have considered wearing it around my neck. Looking into the titanium chains you recommended on another thread. Thanks for all the advice and for doing the design work on the Tear-Jerker. I'll likely place my ring order tomorrow.
Jim
