I am looking for a very small survival guide to fit in my pocket size survival kit. Years ago I saw the "Wallet Survival Guide" which was about 30 pages and measured approx. 3.5" x 3.0" square(wallet was a misnomer since it didn't quite fit). Some small, thin paperback booklet that is fairly comprehensive is what I'm seeking. I did a search through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc. and some camping/outdoors stores but can't seem to find something that small. Anyone know where online or an outlet just north of Boston, Mass. where I can find something like this?

Thanks in advance
Mith.

There is a Collins Gem version of the SAS Survival Guide, Which may fit the bill and should be easy to find. They also do a Hillwalker survival guide, first aid guide and some good field guides to trees plants and fungi. Ialso take the Star guide when camping to brush up on night navigation.Check out www.collins-gem.com

I have several of these wallet kits. I use them for the Mag. lense and very emergency type compass,it does work. I like having the Mag. lense to help read maps etc. I have nots yet used the compass other than to check how to do it and see if the inst. really do work, they do. The instructions are very basic in the kit. What I find it good for is a memory tool. If you sit down and take the time to read it it will jog your memory for other things to do. Clear your toughts etc. I have heard that the Brits tell there G.I.s to stop and brew a cup of tea, calm down and think!<><
