I'm in need of a new wallet. I seem to carry lots of crap. Business cards, gas card, CCW, DL.... etc.

Lets see what you guys recommend.

Dump everything you don't need. Keep the essentials: ID, insurance, license, credit, etc. Fork over the cash [get it?] for a handmade one from Waskerd. I have a thing for handmade in USA leather goods, and after a lot of searching settled on a super slim one from Waskerd, and ... WOW!!! Two years and it still is going strong. Some of the best feeling leather I have ever touched. Stitching is excellent. Perfect in every way. You will love the feel of it and everyone will love the look of it. A wallet shouldn't be some huge bundle you keep junk in, that's what purses are for. Check this guy's stuff out. You will not be disappointed! They are handmade to order and he can pretty much do whatever you want. I keep my ID, two credit cards, one insurance card, and my handgun permit in mine and it is just a bit over 1/4" thick fully loaded. And it looks phenomenal. You will never have to buy another wallet again if you get one of his. And they do have ones made to carry more stuff than what I do. I got mine to help out with back problems and to stop looking like a tool with a 2" thick wallet jutting out of my back pocket. I'm not a spokesperson, I just love mine to bits and convince everyone I can to make the switch.

I carry a rayskin card holder from Adam Unlimited. Interior is leather, outside is polished black rayskin. One large pocket for bulk cards, 2 credit card slots, id window. Simple and elegant. I think it was like $40? I've been carrying it for over a year now and it has held up brilliantly. I used to go through leather wallets of similar style at least 1-2 a year. This one shows no sign of being worn out any time soon. Good stitching and quality overall.

I have a saddleback bi fold.

It's decent, though a bit tight on the cards (many complaints of breaking plastic credit cards).

Took the minimalist approach and went with Saddleback I.D. wallet. Love it.

If there is one near you, check out the Fossil store. Huge selection and very good quality at pretty reasonable prices. You ought to able to find a style and color perfect for you. And yeah, take the opportunity to empty out all of the crap you don't really need to carry around every day.

thanks for all the reccomendations guys. Looking for something nice. The waskerd looks good as does the Saddleback. Anybody else?

Probably not as nice as Saddleback, but I was tired of my back hurting from sitting on a giant lump everyday.
Got a Big Skinny Hipster Bifold in Leather about a year and a half ago. The edges are slightly dog-eared, but it's held up remarkably well. All loaded up with cards, ID and cash it's barely bigger than my phone (slightly wider.) I knew it would be skinny, but thought it might be a little wide and tall. I have not found a pocket (jacket, sportcoat, jeans, slacks, khaki's) that it won't fit into.
I'm never looking back.

I actually just bought a crabby wallet. It was on kickstarter and look pretty cool so I pulled the trigger.. Look up the titanium slim wallet it's awesome

Filson wallet in bridle leather. Received it as a gift about fifteen years ago. Doesn't look like new any more, but continues to function perfectly. :)

Yasutomo2020 Cuben fiber. Looks great, feels great. As much as I like leather, by the time you get to the good ones, there's no cash left to put in it! Also here in the humidity leather wallets don't last.

A while back I dumped all of the junk out of my wallet and moved to a Maxpedition micro wallet. Its a freakin' pocket revelation not carrying around 1/4 ton of junk I don't need. I spent years carrying around an inch thick wallet just so I could get one free coffee every 3 months or a 0.000000000001% fuel discount

Sciatic. Google that, then lose the wallet for a money clip.

Sit on or use a fat wallet for 20 years and then wonder why you have back problems?

Old, been there, done that. Money clip with an old Marriott key card for tension if fewer bills, carried in right front pocket. Additionally have a Saddleback bi-fold CARD case for DL, CWL, debit card,3 ins cards, voter registration and one credit card that I put in left front ONLY when I need it-rides in my car but not left there except when home.

Wallet..might as well carry a brick phone - at least that wouldn't kill your back over time.

Best.

I had a flipside wallet for a couple of years. It finally shit the bed the other day. So I decided to go back to my roots with a nice leather wallet. I chose a medium saddleback leather bi-fold wallet. It came in today and I have it loaded up and am very happy with it. We'll see how I like it after a couple of weeks or months.

I am partial to small front pocket wallets and both are Stingrays don't think it's possible to wear one out the money clip model is over 15 years old and shows no sign of falling apart soon. The credit card model, is brand new.
