Not to steal another thread, but I am looking to get a new wallet. I got some leather wallet last christmas, and it's falling apart in less than a year. Of course, like all guys, I'm apprehensive to throw it away, but I'm looking for a new one. Any of you have any reccomendatyions? I have been looking that specops t.h.e. wallet jr, but...I don't know. Any ideas?

After being constantly disappointed by run-of-the-mill leather wallets, I recently purchased an Eagle Creek Tri-Fold Wallet.

It's compact, inexpensive (around 10 to 15$), made of sturdy Cordura (looks nice too!), two zippered pockets, plenty of space for CCs etc, comes with a small D-ring attached - my only complaint would be that the coin pocket is a little tight.

I ordered T.H.E. wallet a while back. Took it out of the box and put it right back. This thing was HUGE! I'm not sure on the Jr. but, if it's like it's big brother you will need to find some large pockets to keep it in.

Fisher Space pen has a couple different wallets with built in pen pockets.

The SpecOps T.H.E. (The Holds Everything) wallet Jr. model is only a bit larger than most others. And will fit into regular jean pockets without problem. It uses no velcro to wear out. But rather a reinforced flap that tucks right under into a lip. Its thin construction will hold plenty while still remaining much thinner than a leather type material wallet. This model has recently replaced my Eagle Creek Travellers wallet, which was just large enough to carry a passport. But was still small enough to just make it into a rear jean pocket than that the full size SpecOps T.H.E. wallet. T.H.E. wallet was a real tight fit and was best regulated to my side pockets of my cargos.

Try the Maxpedition CID case and a small moneyclip / knife (SAK). Haven't carried a regular wallet in years and my rear thanks me. I often tuck my ID and CC in the clip and go during the summer. Light and easy.

I too got tired of flimsy cow leather wallets. Found a buffalo hide one at TJ Maxx 12 years ago, ad have carried since. The only casualty is the nylon lining.

Other than that, looks like new.

I would second the Mission Wallet at BladeArt. FOr under $30, it carries jsut enuf. I have that in my front pocket, and my buffalo in my hip pocket. Great combo.

I carry - and have for a couple of years - T.H.E Wallet. Currently in my jeans pocket where it is - to be fair - a tight fit.

Carries cards, currency, Fisher space pen, sometimes an arc AAA, passport, driving licence, ID, Spydercard. I love it.

mine has to have a badge in it and the best badge wallets made are made by tex shoemaker and sons of California.

Filson wallets are really great. The packer wallet is kinda big but i like it that way...it can fit about 12 cards and the leather is really good quality...it wears really nicely too.

I've had a Mini-Folio by Wenger for a year now. I love it. The leather and stiching are both holding up fine. It has spots for both a pen and a small tablet in it. Having a tablet in my wallet has proven to be very useful for me. Of course, now I need a Wenger SAK to go with it.

I have a Hartman wallet, and it has held up VERY well. Belting leather that colors with age and is guaranteed for a long time. GOOD quality leather. That's what I can suggest!

Ordered the non-jr version...Took one look at how BIG it was and ordered a jr.
got it in and tried to put all my stuff in it and it would not fit...
Got out the non-jr and loaded it up...You know what??? It fits in my pocket very well!
I love it now...I keep the main compartment empty and put my money in the zippered hiden compartment...It is sized just right for american money...The main compartment is sized for the oversized Euro. money...You know...I may put recipts in there...Why did I not think of that before...

I had a ~$80.00 leather wallet I got from Dillards with a 7 year waranty about 7 years ago, and it finally gave out. It was filled so tight that it hurt to lay down with it in my pocket...The new specopsbrand non-jr can hardly be felt.
REALLY like it!

I thought so too, but you know what??? It fits in my dress pants without problems...The thing that fools you it that it is so thin, even loaded up, that it does not buldge your pocket out so fits in a same size pocked as a buldging smaller wallet.

I also no longer have the problem of trying to fish out my wallet from my pocket when it is bulging open... This thing just slips right in and out. The 'latch' helps a LOT here too...I LOVE that latch!
