I usually don't spend a lot of time calling attention to a ebay sellers ad, but this one caught my eye. They have good pictures and this knife seems to have it's own personality. Plus there is a connection of sorts to Schrade. Take a look at the neat old Wallkill River Works knife, and appreciate the old craftsmanship.
LT no doubt knows this knife, maybe even the fellow who made it (just kidding LT......I don't think you are that old).:D

Anyway enjoy the neat old knife.....I am not bidding nor do I know the seller. Y'all knock your selves out.......I am saving my pennies for the Oregon Knife Collectors Association Show in Eugene.......tomorrow morning......just 24 1/2 hours from now. I believe it is billed as the largest knife show in the world.

Dale,
Thanks for the link - that's a very interesting knife.
I see one of the sharpies made a stab at getting the knife che
Q: Would youadd the BUY-IT-NOW feature to your knife??say $50??Let me know??THANKS
I'll bet the knife goes well over a $100.
I saw a reference in a Voyles book last night about a "beerkill" crick that was in that area and had an early knife factory on it. Said the locals called it that because the water was the color of beer.
Maybe LT can tell us about the knife and the "beerkill".:D
