There is a tobacco/cigar shoppe in the local Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

As you walk in the door, there's a display case with all the usual stuff, except that, on the right, there's a section with some custom knives, all marked Wallulis (I think I've remembered it correctly).

I am told this fellow is local to Coeur d'Alene, but I haven't been able to turn up anything. The shoppe wasn't able (or perhaps willing) to put me in touch with him.

Anyone heard of this fellow?

His work is good. Even exceptional.

Fixed blades, a skinner or two, a knife that looks suspiciously like an Old Hickory, but costs about $100 or so.

Anyone know this guy?

I don't know anything about this maker, but there is a Dennis Wallulis Knives in Coeur d'Alene. I could not find any information on this knifemaker, but I did a People Search, and this is what came up.

I am the nephew of Dennis Wallulis. He did make the best knive out there. He lost his fight with cancer a few weeks ago. He was a Chief Engineer aboard a ship for the Government for 32 years so he had the talent and knowledge to produce an awesome product. He left me the equipment and many parts and pieces to continue the knive making, so I can try to continue the tradition. Thanks for your interest in his knives, hang on to the ones you have. Those knives will last for ever.

Wyatt.
