I just came from my local walmart and was lucky enough to pick up a couple of 112 for $11.check your stores they are still out there.

Are the just regular 112 Bucks? Do they come in a tin or something? They closing them out or what?

Its pretty much a regular 112 that comes in a commerative tin. Buck made them for Wal Mart for the 2006 holiday season. They were a great deal at their original list of $25 but an absolute bargain for $11!

Now would they be any lesser quality because they were made for Walmart?

That's a real nice setup for even $25.

Awesome knife and set.

For $25, one should get all they could.

For $11....I'd be in heat.

Why do I think of Darryl when I see "BungWrench"?

.

Who's Darryl?

I'm going to try to pick one of these 112's up tonight on my way home if they have any.

Well Wal-Mart didn't have any when I looked tonight on the way home. There wasn't even anyone at the counter. I couldn't even get anyone to come over to the counter. Maybe they were all hidden behind the counter in a secret box. I doubt it.

Many WW didnt even carry them this year, they dont need/want our business :D

Great, another reason for me to wade into Wal-Mart:D

I wasn't looking last time but didn't see any. They have the ones here torn up to take all the firearms counters out and I think the knives have been put away due to that. Hopefully, they'll have things unpacked by now!

Otherwise, I guess I'll have to ebay one. Hope to avoid that if I can.

Thanks for the lead on them!

I just checked their website, they list NO Bucks knives on there. Is that normal for them?

I bought two last night, one in damaged packaging for 50%off the clearance price, so $6.50 and 11.00. Works for me.

SMKW must have bought some from from WM.They were selling them on Knives Live tonight for $39.99.

Hi Bung :) ,

It is the same as any other Buck. Just cheaper.

They are the same quality 112 just less expensive (Wally World purchasing power and all that).

I heard that the tang stamp on these is somewhat unique, but I don't have a 'regular' 2006 112 to compare it to.

I've called the nearby Wallie's and they don't have anything on sale or anything in tins.....apparently never stocked these. The 110s go for $29.95 normal price.

Here's the website.

Strange, I don't see a single Buck.....maybe they only sell those in the stores (or maybe they're hidden somewhere else on the site?).

Anybody ever try one of those Remington Sportsman knives that are listed at $14.62 for purchase on-line only?

No luck for me either.

So I stopped into a local shop and bought the 112 Sanbar Stag Limited Ed instead:D

Mike,
I got mine for $100 out the door.

I think they are that or a bit less on ebay. However, I like to support my local guy when I can.
