I got one of these awhile back for $17.00. Great knife. I like mine alot.
 
I'll have to check my local Wal-Mart tomorrow to see if they have one. I don't remember seeing it, but with the little picture poster that they use it is easy to miss something. Beautiful knife. :)

None at the Savannah or Lexington Tennessee stores either. And they aren't discounting what they have left of the others. I really wanted one after seeing the post! The last IHEA folder was gone too.

And I am less than a mile from the Tennessee River here! I shoulda got one free!!!!

Maybe this was just another case of being in the right place at the right time, either way I really like this knife, if you can get one I would strongly recommend it. :D :cool:
 
The Tennessee River Trapper was an exclusive for Walmart stores only, so once you can't find them there, I'm sorry to say you won't be able to find them new anywhere. Time to do a Walmart to Walmart field trip.

Hey rev jch, bop on up to Bentonville and check the warehouse! Lol! I used to live in Benton, in the Shaw community just South of town. Wow has that place grown since '76! I last visited there in '98 and hardly recognized the place. I kinda miss the Benton/ Hot Springs area. Some of my best friends, the Saline River, and my best deer hunting was there. Great folks too. unfortunately I have lived on Ohio for the last 5 years :( have not been able to go back and visit!
 
That looks like one mighty nice knife, I can see how much you like it by how many times you´ve posted the picture :D.

Mexican WalMarts only carry the occasional SAK :( .

Be careful if any of you buy any more schrade knives from smoky, especially the OT's evidently there have been allot of complaints about ones that appear to be seconds, aside from the ones they sell (advertised)
as seconds.
 
Good advice. That's how Smokey was able to get some good prices. Very often the knives they bought from Schrade were classified as seconds. When in doubt, call their 800 number and ask before you purchase. Federal Trade Commission will hammer Companies that willfully misrepresent products, so if it is a "second", and they know it is a "second", they have to answer you truthfully.
 
They should, but believe me they dont always! I have one friend there who can be trusted, but thats only if this person is there.

Im weary of buying anything from smoky, so I try to "check things out first".
