Here is my walrus ivory backpacker . The knife is 7 1/2" long overall, 3 1/2 inches point to bolster. The blade is 440C and the bolster is 416 as are the pins. The slabs are walrus tusk ivory. The tang is tapered. Please give me your thought s on the knife.
Also I was thinking of having the bolsters engraved, what do you think?
Thanks
Steve

I like it! I think a little engraving may liven up this knife a bit, otherwise it is very nice!

I agree the engraving would make the knife look the part. is this knife intended for working? im not sure the blade thickness would help for slicing tasks.. or maybe the blade looks extra thick because the tang is tapered. sorry mate just giving my honest input. i like the blade shape though.

Nice knife Steve. Really lovely.
Engraving would look nice on this knife IMHO.
