My friend asked me if I could make a knife for him. With a deer's horn that his grandfather hunted more than 40 years ago, when hunting was still allowed in Brazil, and if I could mix in the damascus steel, parts of a railroad wrench that his grandfather used in his work.
I present to you the result of this project, Named ´´Walt´´!!

Twisted damascus steel forged blade
steel blend: 1070 x 15n20 x railroad wrench.
Brazilian pantanal deer antler
Dimentions:
Blade length 281 mm
thickness 5,6 mm
width 60 mm
Total length 432 mm
I hope you like!!
Comments are really welcome!

That piece of antler worked out perfect, that thing looks like it'd be real comfortable in the hand. That is a great tribute to his grandfather incorporating the wrench. How was it working it into the Damascus?

That is an exceptional looking knife, and the story of the materials really makes it something special.

Hello mr. Red, that antler feels so confortable on hands, the curves are exactly where needs to be! the wrench, works very good inside the damascus bar, because have a medium carbon quantity. I tested the blade before i finish the work. Works very well! i´m very happy with results!

Mr. Abby, the history is real, and this knife are very important to the family, Will be an inheritance from father to son....after and after!
