I just got these blades in from Walt. He left the flats on the knives raw from heat treat - I decided to hand rub mine (don't I always) to give a different look.

It is THICK, beefy and made to cut. Walt sent his sharp as always and I decided to convex mine to give a different edge. I think this is some of the best edge geometry that Walt has put out. It is toothy and begs to be used and abused.

Check em out.

I put it next to a 3/8th Firesteel for a decent comparison.

Walt also put on his new etching for his blades.

I have to make some pants for two of these this week.

The handles look real comfortable. They're built like a tank. Mac

ooohh.... nice one Walt... that's a great looking blade.... i like the etching too...

Nice pics, TF:thumbup: How do you like the handles?

Thanks for the good words, all! These are 3/16" 1075 with high flat sabre grinds and nice thin edges. They're a hair wider/taller than normal to accommodate for the sabre grind and still get a good cutting geometry:cool: I was going for a double-tuff, do-it-all blade, and I think I pulled it off:p

Those look great! That rough finish just looks right on those knives. Good stuff. I normally don't even like the looks of thick blades that size, but these look like something I'd use for sure.

Sweet, my only very minor complaint was for thicker stock. This is right up my alley, love his stamp too.

Thats awesome and looks like its just begging to be used! I'd love to see a review about it soon!

My wallet hates you now though..I just put Mr. Davis' knives on my "must have" list!

Great looking knives

I like the thickness of them. I am a big fan of thick blades
