Just wanna throw it out, does Walter still make the model 2? Or is his knives are at so high demand that his not accepting any more orders?

Walter still makes Model 2's for sure. I'm not sure of his backlog, or if he is still taking orders... But I picked up a very nice variant Model 2 at Blade 2013 from him. Might be worth checking his website to give him a call.

Mr. Brend is very proud of his work - his grinds are some of the best IMHO.
I don't think he does serrations or blade coatings, anymore.

His really strong with his Christian beliefs which I think is pretty cool
