My parents owned a small town hardware store in Northern Ontario in the middle of pulp wood country. Amongst everything the people in town needed we sold Pioneer Chainsaws and Walters Axes, by the cases. I hauled them upstairs to the warehouse and then back down to the store. When my Dad died I inherited a bunch of his tools including a brand new never used Pulp style axe. It has been sitting in my basement for over 12 years and is a little scuffed up. For what ever reason I hauled it out the other day and the memories flooded back. Someone would come into buy an axe. Although there would be at least a dozen in the rack the customer would have to inspect more so Dad would send me up to haul down another case. This could easily take an hour before the customer decided.
Anyways when I came across this Forum I thought that someone may enjoy some photos, that is if if someone could explain how to.

Thanks

I don't do photos yet, but I appreciate your story and sentiment. I'm sure someone will get back to you on the picture format. I would like to see them. Dog

I also like your story. I also do not do photos. I don't even know what an app is. The only thing that app means to me is that I have to put in a application, like you do for a job ? It's too bad because if posting photos was easier I might show you people some interesting axes.

Can anybody tell those of us with very limited computer knowledge and skills (me !) how to post pictures with a gold membership ? Thanks,
Bernie

how to post pictures with a gold membership ?
Paid memberships allow storage on the BladeForums (BF) site. A Gold Membership allows 20Mb storage.

Example of one way to upload to BF with a paid membership (using a laptop):

Great story!

super easy to post pictures using an image hosting site like postimage. you just create your account. upload the photo(s) that you want to share somewhere and then the image hosting site will give you a variety of links that you can use to share your photos. the one that works the best here is the one called "hotlink for forums"

can't wait to see that walters axe.

Here is one of mine
