More than 4200 tables. Who is making the trip?

http://www.tulsaarmsshow.com/home.html

Got my eye on a few things to pick up, but I dont think I am going to make it this time. Wife wants to go to Dallas that weekend. If anything, I would only get to stop in for a couple hours. A couple hours just isnt worth it.

2 full days and you still wont see everything.

It's on my bucket list but I won't make it this year or next.

A tip or two for anyone that hasn't gone before:

Bring a backpack for your new stuff and the stuff you are trying to move.

If you find something you want, make a deal on it then and there. Chances are you wont be back to get it, even if its still there.

Dont bother carrying your carry pistol in. Just too much trouble to mess with.

Dont worry with deodorant that day, nobody else does.

This place is massive, lots of stuff to see everywhere. If there is a specific vendor you are looking for, make a map and a plan.

11 ACRES under 1 roof, massive, as stated dang hard to see it ALL walking nonstop for 2 LONG days!!
Billed as 'The largest Gun/Arms show in the World"

I agree with all this and add pack a lunch, you don't want to waste time and money buying food there.

Concrete floor wear good shoes. Lower level use to have more Traditional knives than upper. Restrooms will have line most of the time, plan ahead. Need shoulder bag or backpack but keep it closed and zippered up at all times. Pic pockets work the crowd when it is back to back and shoulder to shoulder , and it will be as some of bigger dealers push their tables out into the walkway and crowd people together. I have seen a pick pocket at work and could not get the attention of picked before the picker was gone in the rabble. I carried my billfold in my front pocket. If you can't stand to be shoulder bumped a few times stay in open areas. Unless your early, you may have to walk a pretty long way from your parked vehicle. Buses sometimes bring knife and gun club members from OKC, KC, LR, DFW and St.L. I don't go anymore because my knees can't stand the concrete. 120 is correct, if you really want something try to make a deal then and there, it likely will be gone when you come back. I would get there when it opened and walk briskly down the tables and it would be late afternoon before I finished walking. One bathroom break and no sitting down to eat. You need to go once just to see it. You will either be amazed or scared. Its really not a place for little kids or expecting mothers. It calms down a little after 2 or 3 o'clock. 300
