What knife would you guys recommend. I found the la griffe a cute lil knife but it seemed to me a little expensive for such a small simple knife, no offence to everyone who owns one, i'm sure they're great. What about the SW Badge knife? Although its of a lower quality it seems more hand filling allowing more of a grip and is inexpensive.

I would go with the Emerson La Griffe in a heartbeat over that Smith & Wesson ripoff. If you find the La Griffe a bit expensive and are on a budget, check out the CRKT Bear Claw.

The REKAT is a neat little neck knife, however, I'd still stick with the Griffe. The CRKT is a cool knife as well, but I have had pretty bad luck with the CRKT sheaths.

I could see questioning La Griffe's utility for some tasks, it being short and a hawksbill, but don't worry about losing your grip on it. Whether you put your index finger through that hole or your little finger, like I do, you will not lose control of The Claw!
