Preparing for a Deacon's Meeting tomorrow after church.

Clockwise from 9pm (left) is Sirloin tip marinaded in teriyaki, chicken in BBQ (KC Masterpiece), Sirloin tip marinaded in some sort of oriental-ish sauce, and plain Sirloin tip ready for a dusting of seasoning on the grill.

We've got tater salad, pasta salad (greek) and cheesecake for dessert. Mmmmm.

That BAD is BAD! Removing the tendon from the sirloin tips was a BREEZE. Killer edge. And I have, do, and will ALWAYS love the NICK for kitchen work. Love that knife!


So who wants to join my church??? I do this 2x/yr as well as "Meat on a Stick" night. (We Deacons and Pastors are testing some new marinades tomorrow. :) )

That's a great idea. My pastor is an avid hunter and fisherman, as is our music director and about 50% of the congregation. I'm going to bring this up. Thanks for the idea!:thumbup:
 
We're sort of a wussy church, but our new pastor is a BIG TIME outdoorsman. We were moving him in and he pulled out all of the different swords he uses for object lessons in his sermons. LOL I just quietly smiled as everyone else hung on his every word.

By this time next year, we'll be grunting and farting in the pews. (No pun intended.)
 
Dang it was good. 8 guys polished off 6lbs of meat, plus tater salad, cheesecake, pickles, bread, and pasta salad.

Word to the wise - never feed 8 guys after 11:00 service. It's 1:20 and they are HUNGRY!

I am not exactly in touch with my spirituality but your church grub looks soo damn good..
Maybe I need to get myself in check , drink the holy water and give your church a try.. :):thumbup:
