Love the carbon fiber though, and the recess ground into the lock bar is a pretty good idea.

Is the clip reversible to tip-up? It looks like it has been drilled for it!
 
Yes Carlos, the tip-up carry option is there if desired. The clip isn't reversable to other side though...for that, you need to buy the leftie version.

Actually, I wonder if this is my fault. I mentioned the tip-up/down possibility to Sal once (few months ago), and he said he would look into it. What a great company!

anyone interested in trading one of their Carbon Fiber civi's for a aluminum handled one ?
 
Is the handle slippery? I have a regular non plane edge civie. I would think it can be a handful if your have sweaty hands since the handle is so smooth looking. Also is it a double edge or single edge?
