Wanna upgrade from Platinum to Knifemaker, just buy a Knifemaker membership outright?

Do you get credit for the membership you already have and pay just an upgrade fee, or shall I just go buy a "knifemaker" membership at normal price and change my status? It's fine either way, but if we get "credit" for already having a paid subscription then I figured I ought to know about it. I am making a few of my own knives now, and need to sell a couple to help pay for supplies!! I don't mind supporting the site by upgrading at full price if that is the way it works.
