Wano Knives is Tommy & Leona Ware, out of Datil NM.

I was waundering around my first Blade Show back in 2001 and I saw these beautiful stag folders on Tommy's table. I asked him if I could pick one up and he said I'd better show you how. Now you'd never guess it by looking at it, but this beautiful little gent's knife is a bolster release auto. You push up with your thumb right about where the guard extends and slick quick as that it's open. You push to close it the same way.

This was just about the coolest little knife I'd seen, but I didn't have the money left for another knife, but I took Tommy's card and I never forgot that knife.

At Blade Show 2004 I finally got to order one from Tommy. It came the other day. My boss is not a knife person, but when he saw this knife a big smile came on his face and he said, "I gotta get me one of those." It's just that kind of a knife.

Now normally I'd be getting in contact with Gary Graley or Lifter Dave about a belt sheath, but it came with one.
