Well its Saturday and I was wandering around in the 80s section of my knife collection...yeah I know scary..When I came across this piece right next to my penny loafers and my Micheal Jackson Thriller album ( and don't laugh you owned one too I cannot help that he went from a nice good looking talented Black man to a white pedophile bag lady now can I???? but I digress..)
and I find this knife...which is an amazingly well made blade honestly...
Remember the 1988 Carlco production of RAMBO III Where Rambo heads off to Afghanistan to assist the poor peace loving freedom fighters of the Muhajadeen in their Jihad against the Evil Russian Bear and kicks a bunch of Commie butt thus opening up Afghanistan for the Taliban and a hot bed of anti American fundamentalist Islamic wierdism and terrorism?

So anyway this is the United Cutlery reproduction of the Gil Hibben Bowie used in that movie to kill Commies. Actually this knife was made back when UC still had a soul and made some pretty good production stuff and this is and example of that.
This bowie is 17" in length with a 11" blade made with a fine dark wood handle ( looks to me to be some sort of oak with dark stain) and a very well made leather sheath...heck really its not a bad knife....
the steel is stainless 1095 and is new unused and never been out of the box...
this would be a fun knife to give to a kid for Xmas, practice sharpening a big knife on...or just killing remaining communists who now are all hiding in the public school system or at your local ACLU office...( oops my bad ...
