Hey there, im new to this forum and i hope i posts in the correct thread.
Im Andreas and im from Sweden, im 21years old and i love knives.

Well, i only have a few Spydercos, a CRKT Swindle and som random other knives.
And i totally love My Swindle flipper, its so smooth, so im looking for a new flipper.
And i came across a knifemaker called Ray Laconico, so i search som info about this genius knifemaker.
And found out that its very hard to get a hold on his knives.. And since i live in Sweden, its Atleast 7hours in timedifference over in USA. So im preeetttyyy much scr**ed to even have a tiny chance of buying one of his knives.. :(

And i was searching for a Titanium Flipper, and i found the perfect knife for me.. But its made by R.Laconico..... So im looking for a new knife, a titanium flipper. Please help me find one.
I really like Sebenza, but they have no flipper avalible?

Thank you fellow knifelovers

They do come up occasionally in the Individual sale forum under customs, but Ray also puts some up under the Knifemaker Market for sale forum as well. Alternatively why don't you e-mail him, he is also a member of the forum 'raylaconico'.

I've never bought anything from him or even seen any of his knives in person. But he is on the forums here. Check out the knife makers section of the forum. Browse around and shoot him an email.

CRKT, the same people who make your Swindle also make a knife called the Eros. It has a Titanium frame and uses the same IKBS system that the Swindle does.

I absolutely love my hinderer xm 18 3.5 spanto blade, if you look around you can find them new for seven, and even less on a exchange, or used.

What kind of budget do you have to work with?

The Zero Tolerance 0801 is probably the nicest all titanium flipper I've handled. It is definitely a great bang-for-your-buck knife.
If you're looking to spend more money on a custom, Randy Doucette makes some nice flippers and are fairly available.
Of course, Darrel Ralph always has some of his knives designs available for sale by HTM.
If you just want a good flipper, minus the titanium and the pricetag that goes along with it, you can't really beat a kershaw RAM, designed by G&G Hawk.

If you wanna go a bit cheaper you could get a CRKT ripple they run about $80 and are super lightweight and slim

I'm with Vege on this one, the quality and action on the 801 Rexford is miles beyond it's asking price. I have been carrying mine and have quite the habit of flipping it constantly.

Yes to the Ripple! I have the liner lock, but I know I'm gonna get the frame lock eventually.

But I get the feeling you're looking for something a little higher in price so maybe the other suggestions are better like the Zero Tolerance.

Good luck!

Wow, so many answers !
Well, im going to look thru all the answers, but Will a Curtiss F3 be a good option? It has a bronze anodized pivitscrew and pocketclip, and the backspacer that sits between the frame. So its very cool looking.
The seller wants 600dollars for it, he Said it Costed him 700dollars.
And the knife is unused, so totally new.
Deal or no deal? :)

I want to get my hands on a Curtis f3 very badly, I have only heard good things about them. Can't help with the prices thou, if you want it now and your o.k. With the price. It's your choice. I know they are hard to come bye, at least that's my experience. I like to buy directly from the dealer.

Does it have a bearing system like IKBS? If I were going to get a flipper to flip a lot, I'd lean toward bearings. I have no knowledge of Curtiss so will defer to others on that model.

Okey i see. Well, its feels like alot of money, it is alot of money. But i think im willing to spend this much money on a knife. But when i get a new hobby, i pretty much go all in, almost..
I want to buy from David Curtiss directly to, but i trust this Guy 100%, i bought 2pcs Paramillies 2 from him in mint condition. So i trust him that it is never used. :)

If that is for a new F3 seems about right for the secondary market. Just make sure to find out which size F3 it is so that if fits you. Curtiss has a website that'll give you the details. I've personally never handled a Curtiss but they look like a great knife and he uses IKBS on all of his flippers.

I've also been seeing a lot of Hinderers on the exchange in the 600-700 price range. I love my XM24. It flips great but its a big-un so its not something I put in the pocket on a regular basis.

As others have said on this forum the ZT 0801 is an awesome flipper. Its been in my pocket daily since I got it. It feels great in the hand fits nice in the pocket but is a bit on the heavy side which doesn't/t bother me. I really like this knife and would encourage you to consider it as an option.

I really like the Eros from CRKT because of its light weight and slimness. Really easy to carry and will handle most simple daily tasks.

The hardest part is deciding what you want. Hope this helps. Cheers

Brian Tighe makes some fine flippers using his own Sealed Thrust Bearing System. Check him out.

Okey, great. This F3 is unused, so Thats even better. :) it's the 3,5inch model.
IKBS, does it take a long time before the bearrings wear out?

Eros.. Will check that one out :)

Ive put about 1000$ in My knives if i buy this F3, i own Paramilitary 2, tenacious, endura 4 ffg, crkt swindle. One of each. Bought a para 2 for My dad though.
And i, starting to think this is getting to an addiction.. :|

Ive bought so flashlights to, but i got pretty tired to buy flashlights since i never use them.
And knives i use, not Everyday maybe, a few Times a week maybe. So maybe ill sell the endura 4 and tenacious. To releaf My conscince a bit. Or do you have any idea? This is pretty offtopic, sry. Please answers in PM, if u want. Or here
