Want a Skinny ASH

I have been drooling over the Skinny ASH for some time now, but they don't seem to be as prevailant as the "normal" ASH-1's. Why is that? Did Busse make fewer of these models? I really want a "user", and when I do see one for sale, it is a collector! :(

I don't really think it is a matter of them making less. I just think that fewer people put them up for sale.

They are great!

I do love the Fatties as well. I had one that I moved on, to emergency fund a KZII.

Now I have the Sarsquatch. I do like the thin Infi.

Plenty of strength, but thinner for slicing better.

Just be patient, you will find one.

Who cares if it is new, it won't be after you get your mitts on it!

Good point! I'd take one that was used, honestly. I'm gonna use it! ;)

You learn early on in Busse world that people don't often sell their users.

And if you do see one, the knife is so old (like this SHSH1) that you'd have to pay $1,500 for it anyway

They made less, WAY less.

The CG was up on the Busse Combat website for almost a year. The skinny's were only Ganzas and shows.

I bought my Skinny ASH (my first Busse) from the Busse web site. They were available for sale there for quite a while.

I think the .32 ASH-1's were originally on the actual Busse website and the Skinnies were with Skunk at the BCS.

I can't even keep up with what was at Ganzaaaaa's and shows anymore.

I bought several skinnies, but they were for sale from Skunk as Greg45 stated. If I recall correctly, they were for sale at the same time there were NMSFNO's for sale, and they ran out about the same time as well.

I'm down to 4 Busses these days. If I HAD to sell off every one of them the Skinny would be the last one sold. It's a great one. :)

Ah hah! I thought the "Busse Company Store" WAS part of the Busse website. Now I see how the infamous Skunk is involved in the scheme of things Busse....

- I took the new CABS on a whitetail hunt today (it fit well in an old Mikey Moto sheath I had laying around) but I didn't get to poke it into any whitetail innards - :(

If you liked the Skinny Ash, I wonder if a Hell Razor would also work for you?

The CG ASH-1 gave me "Busse Pinkie" because of the shape.

I had one that Skunker sold me as a send-to-a-soldier blade. Sent it to a soldier.

I had an LE (skinny) and a CS skinny. Both were nice. The blade wasn't 100% what I was looking for in a knife, so I sold it. But that coated skinny. . . some days I wish I bot one for myself as well. LOL

My self stripped Skinny in all its dimpled glory. This is the knife by which I judge all other knives in its size range against. To me, a Skinny ASH-1 is THE tough knife. Everything thicker is just over kill, diminishing its use as a knife.
